"Unit 15 is a Blissful Disconnect..." from TripAdvisor.
The moment we walked in all we could see was the beautiful ocean perfectly framed in the huge sliding glass door. It was the perfect first impression, the room was
spotless and complete with all the amenities one needs. The location was perfect, literally steps away from the beach and walking distance from restaurants
and shops. Our trip was excellent and memorable and look forward to going back to the Hale Pau Hana, and in particular unit 15.

I visited Hale Pau Hana as a little girl with my parents for many, many years. It was such a big part of my childhood, such wonderful memories. I wish to continue the
tradition, hopefully yearly, with my two children. We started last year. My children are ages 5 and 3 and talk about it ALL the time. I know I am helping them make
memories as fabulous as mine of Hale Pau Hana. I am so glad it is still there. There is no other place like it. Unfortunately my father, Dr. Robert
J. McCarten, has passed away. 
My mother, Shirley McCarten, is well, but unable to come with us as she doesn't like to travel anymore. She so enjoyed the stories from
her grandchildren and pictures of us all at the place she loved years ago. A discount for being a return customer would help me so much! We tell everyone this
is the ONLY place to be on Maui. Even brought a dear friend over for a week with us last time and she will be coming back to Hale Pau Hana with her husband
later this year. Kasper and Melissa were so wonderful and helpful to us. Thank you, Kelly

Hale Pau Hana was a slice of Heaven on earth. The two weeks we spent in Kihei were by far the most relaxing and enjoyable vacation my family has ever taken. The Hale Pau Hana facilities are immaculately cared for and ideal for the perfect Hawaiian vacation. I dreamt of my vacation for almost a year and the reality actually surpassed the dream.
I took a thousand pictures that I regularly lose myself in as I relive the trip. I highly recommend Hale Pau Hana to anyone looking for the perfect Hawaiian vacation.

Aloha, Thank you so much for answering my email. I was so upset and thought it was my computer. I hope
they are able to fix our wonderful camera if not I'll bet there are enough of us online that would
be willing to donate money for a new one. I know I'm not the only one that keeps their sanity by going to
the "beach for lunch". It keeps me saving my money so I can be there once a year. Thank you for your kindness.

"Amazing staff and beautiful beach..." from TripAdvisor.
We had the best week staying at Hale Pau Hana on our honeymoon. Waking up every morning and eating pancakes
with fresh fruit on the balcony overlooking the small private beach...this place was idyllic.
The apartment we stayed in was fantastically well
provisioned with an excellent kitchen with a huge fridge freezer. Plus not only that the view was like
something out of an advert for the Hawaiian tourist board. But not only was it quiet with a beautiful
view, but there were three shopping plazas within a ten minute walk and some fun bars. We liked the Sansei
restaurant which had the most delicious mango and crab californian roll which was five minutes from the apartment,
although cooking there was really fun. We bought 5 star fruit for $2 accross the street for our breakfast.
I would love to go back here, it was a fantastic place to stay.

"Beautiful Views from Hale Pau Hana" from TripAdvisor.
My husband and I stayed at the Hale Pau Hana for 4 nights in early December while celebrating our 20th Anniversary.
The property is more lovely than the pictures. The grounds are perfectly maintained and the unit was very clean and
in great repair. 
We stayed in an upper unit in the low rise building.
The view from the balcony was breathtaking and we were able to watch whales from there with binoculars provided by the thoughtful owners.
The beach is gorgeous and the lawn provides a shady oasis
when you are tired of the sun. There is also great snorkeling
right from the beach at both the north and south end. The location is perfect, across the street from
our favorite Kihei restaurant Cafe O Lei. I only wish they had more 2 bedroom units so we could return with our kids.

"Fantastic...not your plain old resort" from TripAdvisor.
Absolutely the best. The staff, the facility, the beach, the view...all of it. If your looking for a relaxed
vacation, this is the place. All of the units
are owned by individuals and most are rented out until the owners are in town. It's clean and neat, the
grounds are in great shape. The beach is county run but who cares with the view that you'll have. The
reefs are 100 yards from the property so you can actually walk right up to them to snorkel. The sunsets
are amazing, if fact, we where here when the owners were planning their annual meeting, they all would
come down with a glass of wine or whatever, sit and talk with everone and watch the sun go down. That
was every night. Great places to eat within walking distance in both directions. They have a laundry
facility right on the property which comes in handy- no running in the car to find a place to wash clothes.
Of all the places my wife and I have stayed around the world, this is in fact a top 3- one of the best vacations we've had in years. Make sure you stay for more than a week to enjoy the whole package. We'll be back next year for sure! Thank you Hale Pau Hana for a great stay!

We just celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary
and stayed in unit
103. This was our 1st visit to Hale Pau Hana but not to Maui.
Not only did we enjoy our accomodations, and the hospitality
of the staff and our fellow visitors but we have comitted
ourselves to become annual
visitors to Hale Pau Hana! We have already left a deposit for
next July for a specific unit. My only fear is that too many others
will find this treasure of a site and dilute its special place in
our lives!

We spent our 50th anniversary with our children and grandchildren at Hale
Pau Hana and it was the trip of a lifetime for us. We
had been there before many times and always want to come back to our paradise
on earth. Everything always seems nicer then the last time and
we hope our children will come back with us in the coming years. It is
the only place we want to come to on the beautiful island of Maui. The
staff always go out of their way to accommodate our every need.
We stayed in Unit
307 and we loved it. The rest of the family loved their units also:
#207 and
#306.

We stayed at Hale Pau Hana for a week this March. This was our second trip to Maui but first at this condo.
The location simply can't be beat. Beach is beautiful, grounds are well kept and chairs are placed at the
beach edge for wonderful ocean views. Snorkling was not bad off the rocks at the end of the beach.
Sitting on the grass watching the whales everyday was amazing! Our unit was a bit older and needed a reno
but it was very clean and comfortable and the view more than made up for anything else. Lots of places to
eat nearby from Moose Mcgillicudy's 3.00 Happy Hour to Cafe O'Lei across the street. If you like a stress
free vacation then come to Kihei and relax. Took us over an hour in bumper to bumper traffic to get to Lahaina
and Kaanapali. Once there had to fight crowds on sidewalks and shops. Glad we went but glad we didn't stay
there. Wailea is ony 5 minutes drive south and is also beautiful. Hale Pau Hana is simply a wonderful place
to spend your Hawaiian vacation.

Just returned from a great trip to the Hale Pau Hana, It was our 15th trip to the islands, but 1st time back to maui in 10 years.
We have always stayed at Hale Pau Hana in previous years and it never disappoints us.
The rooms are great and would recomend a bottom floor unit in the low rise buildings, they make you feel like you are right on the Beach.
Just open the large sliding door and let the fresh Ocean Breeze in......

would have liked a bigger bathroom and a/c in the living room but we managed just fine as it is
great condo --- in excellent shape-- the office and the grounds staff go out of their way to make the place wonderful for your vacation--------the ocean front condos are worth their weight in gold -- will be booking again for next year within the week
also- have read about the a/c s that have timers on them -- ours did not --you had a remote control and you set the temp and the fan speed and it ran til you shut it off

"Great place to stay" from TripAdvisor.
Stayed in unit 703 for a week. It had everything we needed, even good quality snorkel gear. Didn't do any cooking (I was on vacation!), but the kitchen seemed to be well supplied. Fresh towels, soap, etc. and garbage removed every other day. Tuesday evening entertainment was great. Very nice beach, not crowded at all. Only saw one cockroach the whole week, our fault, we left the door open. The room was exactly as depicted on web site. Would definitely recommend Hale Pau Hana.

I just wanted to email to let you know how wonderful our stay at Hale
Pau Hana was. We loved our unit #603 and were completely impressed with
every aspect of the unit, how it had EVERYTHING we could possibly ever
need!!! A home from home.
 The
garden was immaculate, you really work so hard to keep it all so clean
and tidy, and there must be sun bed fairies who come at night and tidy
up all the beds and chairs!! Housekeeping were superb, it was so nice
to be left to our own devices and to only have limited housekeeping, I
for one prefer it that way.
Thank you sooooooooo VERY much for such a wonderful time, and please
pass on our compliments to the owners of unit
#603 and tell them how we loved all their artwork, we will definately
be back one day!!
